The Scandia Good Neighbor Award honors individuals, businesses, and civic groups who make our community a better place to live.
Scandia’s most recent Good Neighbor, Greg Zauner, was presented a Good Neighbor Award Proclamation at the March 19, 2024 Scandia City Council meeting.
Greg was nominated by Patti Ray in recognition of Greg’s exceptional leadership and organizational skills as the volunteer lead of the community’s annual Vinterfest celebration. Greg has been a member and Vice Chair of the Parks and Recreation Committee for a number of years and has played a pivotal role in enhancing the community's recreational spaces and programming, directly impacting the quality of life for Scandia residents. Greg also fills the role as Head Election Judge for Scandia voters, ensuring that our elections are conducted fairly and smoothly.
